Embroidering, which is a kind of meditation, made me think about the ones who had loved me and I rejected. Were they bad? Were they worthless? Were they losers? Not at all... they were great guys that I simply didn't want to date. What about it? Things are different when we put ourselves in the others' shoes. 

As time went by other guys came into my life. The prayers? Eduardo became part of my memories. I was free. At least, I thought I was until the day he called me after two years away.

"Hi, how long? Do you wanna go for a ride?"

To go or not to go? that was the question.  Should I go and feel the same way again? People say life begins at 40. Why not try? I had nothing to lose. At least I thought so.
